Sophos news – Invincea receives perfect score from SC Magazine

Invincea target

We are very pleased to announce that Invincea has received a perfect score in SC Media’s 2017 Endpoint Security Group Test. With a 5 star “recommended” rating, this is further third party validation of the strength of Invincea’s ability to harness the power of deep learning (an advanced form of machine learning) to prevent malware proactively. SC Magazine recently praised Invincea stating that “This is a very powerful tool and certainly deserves your consideration.”

The Best Is About To Get Even Better

In its report, SC Magazine wrote about the need for multiple tools or techniques for endpoint security. “Will the enterprise ever be borderless? We think that it’s likely. And that will place a heavy burden on the endpoints. So, for most organizations, a mix of two or more types of endpoint tools is the right way to go.”

In the coming months we plan to integrate Invincea’s machine learning capabilities into the Sophos next-generation endpoint security client, Intercept X. Intercept X has received its own share of accolades from third party testing sites as well as analyst firms, in large part due to its ability to knock out ransomware using its CryptoGuard technology.  Once fully integrated, the combined capabilities of Invincea and Intercept X will not only stop ransomware, exploits, and known malware, but will also have the predictive ability to prevent unknown malware without signatures, before the malware even executes.

You will be hearing more about this exciting new launch in the coming months. We can’t wait to show you how Sophos will continue to protect endpoints with the combined capabilities of Intercept X and Invincea.
