WatchGuard’s Firebox T80 Earns 5-Star Rating in SC Labs Review
SC Media recently released the results of its annual review of the industry’s latest powerhouse Unified Threat Management (UTM) platforms. WatchGuard is excited to share that its Firebox T80 was named SC Labs’ Pick of the Litter, achieving a 5-star rating in every category measured!
In the review, SC Labs explains that the UTM market has evolved as vendors have added more features and capabilities to their multi-layered threat prevention products, and that “UTMs should absolutely be considered a staple in every company’s security toolset.”
Here’s what SC Labs had to say about WatchGuard’s unique approach to simplifying security:
“The WatchGuard Firebox T80 operates as an MSP-focused security platform that simplifies every aspect of security to make enterprise-grade security accessible to midmarket organizations. WatchGuard focuses on flexible integrations that seamlessly layer complex security services and assemble network traffic payloads.
Sufficient protection against today’s digital threat landscape sometimes requires multiple services working together. WatchGuard combats this complexity with a product that allows for straightforward purchasing, configuration, deployment and centralized management.”
The reviewers stated they believe security professionals will find WatchGuard’s Firebox T80 “an easy-to-use UTM product that offers fast performance and extensive visibility at an affordable price.” They were also particularly impressed with WatchGuard’s “focus on maximizing customer and partner satisfaction with the inclusion of one year of industry-leading 24/7 support, both pre- and post-sale.” All of this together earned the T80 the additional title of SC Labs “Best Buy” in 2020.
