Braving the rain in central London last night, Sophos is rewarded with a clean sweep at this year’s SC Magazine awards 2017, winning a trio of awards for XG Firewall, Web Gateway and Sophos Email.

The only vendor to win in multiple categories, we’re delighted to be recognized for excellence by the impartial judging panel that includes Senior Analysts, CIOs and CISOs from major European and global brands including investment and retails banks, retail groups, airlines, insurance groups, and food groups as well as prestigious government departments.

Award for Best UTM Solution

Winner: Sophos XG Firewall
Winning Best UTM Solution for the second year in a row, it’s fantastic to see the baton effectively passed from Sophos UTM to XG Firewall this year. We continue to put distance between Sophos and the market in many industry benchmarks and winning this award over Cisco Meraki, SonicWall and WatchGuard is an example of that.

The second award for Sophos Email since it’s launch on Sophos Central in 2016, Sophos are already making waves in the Cloud Email Security market. This year overtaking Mimecast and SonicWall to the top spot. Winner: Sophos Web Gateway
Commended in last year’s awards, it’s great to see our commitment to web security rewarded this year by scooping the main award for Best Web Content Management Solution for Sophos Web Gateway on Sophos Central, overtaking Blue Coat and Symantec in this tough category.
