Sophos: Product Lifecycle Information: Extended Support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
From February 16, 2022, extended support is required for MSP managed Sophos Central endpoint and server solutions running Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, and Windows SBS 2011. Devices not covered by extended support will stop receiving product updates from this date. |
When can extended support be added to an account? |
In the week commencing February 7, options to enable extended support will be added to the customer creation and license wizard pages in Sophos Central. See this knowledgebase article for details. Prices for extended support will be available shortly in our updated MSP price list on the Partner Portal. |

Will customers be contacted? |
Customers will not be contacted directly. Accounts that have devices running Windows 7, Windows 2008 R2 or Windows SBS 2011 and do not have extended support will see a banner in the Sophos Central console shortly after updates are disabled. |
