WatchGuard: End-of-Life Notice: AP320 Appliance
| End-of-Life Notice: AP320 Appliance WatchGuard’s AP320 is reaching its End-Of-Life (EOL) on October 1, 2021, as was first announced three years ago. On this date, the access point will no longer be supported by WatchGuard, and so it is important to transition any customers still using this device to the AP325 or one of WatchGuard’s current line of access points. Below, Table 1 describes the End-Of-Sale and EOL milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected products. Table 2 lists the product SKUs affected by this announcement. This end-of-life affects the AP320 hardware and corresponding management license, as well as the AP320 managed by WatchGuard Gateway Wireless Controller (Firebox). Below are migration recommendations. Table 1 – EOS and EOL Milestones for AP320 Milestone Definition Date End-of-Sale Date – AP320 The date on which WatchGuard will no longer sell new AP320 hardware October 1st, 2018 End-of-Life Date – AP320 The date on which WatchGuard will no longer maintain or support the AP320 hardware October 1st, 2021 Migration All customers interested in maintaining the latest features and functionality offered by WatchGuard’s Wi-Fi Cloud should purchase the latest hardware available from WatchGuard. The recommended migration path for this model is WatchGuard’s AP325 or AP420.
