| Dear Sophos XG Firewall Owner, A Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in Sophos XG Firewall firmware was recently discovered and responsibly disclosed to Sophos by an external security researcher. Sophos has already developed a hotfix to resolve the vulnerability and applied it to all customers who have enabled automatic updates. If you have not enabled automatic updates, and your XG Firewall is not running version v17.5-MR9 or newer, please contact Sophos Support for assistance with applying the hotfix.
